ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Two men and a woman have been arrested following a stabbing and assault earlier this month at the Showboat Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The suspects were identified on Wednesday as 31-year-old Kiandre Harris of Glen Burnie, Md.; 38-year-old Quheem Whitehead of Newark, N.J.; and 41-year-old Marquita Wilson of Newark, N.J.
Police were called to Showboat at 10:37 p.m. on April 5 for a report of a stabbing. Once on the scene, they found a 38-year-old woman from Maryland who had been assaulted.
Officers also learned of a man who was stabbed but fled before police arrived. That man, identified as Whitehead, later arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
According to police, Whitehead chased the female assault victim after an argument and struck her in the head several times, knocking her to the ground.
After she fell, police say Wilson kicked the victim in the face multiple times.
During the assault, police say Harris stabbed Whitehead twice in the back with a pocketknife.
